Launched in 2011 as a community for people that are frenziedly busy, work desk jobs, and have little time on their hands, this blog is a quickly growing collectice of go-getters from all around the world. We breed simple, sustainable minimalist fitness, because we believe in achieving the body and health you want, shouldn’t be dedicate endless hours exercising or jumping on and off fad diets.

SO, WHO CREATED THIS MINIMALISTS FITNESS WORLD?
Glad you asked! Currently based in NYC, The Headlock was founded by me…Jesse. I started THL back when I was in a stressful point in my life…a new job, increased responsibilities, and diminishing time were all ingredients in a cocktail that did not compliment a fit and healthy lifestyle. I harnessed this growing frustration and desire to fill the void with a dream to create a platform where I can empower others to live simple and work smarter towards the ultimate goal(s).
My endless passion for this concept has helped me live a simpler and minimal life, where I no longer dedicate endless hours working out, I make mindful diet decisions without sacrificing some of the things I enjoy, and get back a valuable resource…time! Now I want to give that same feeling to YOU. I am crazy about helping others find that same “minimalism” in their lives. Whether it be sharing all of my lessons learned or reminding you why you’re ready, even when you think you’re not, I hope THL unlocks something BIG deep inside you.
